At Canine Sports, we believe in a humane training approach that strengthens the relationship between person and dog. We work on developing a clear and direct line of communication to build a solid, long-lasting bond based on trust and understanding. let us help you understand and use your dog's natural drives to shape a delightful, reliable, and biddable pet. Using games and play, we put the fun back into training for you and your dog!
Our holistic approach leads to a happy, balanced, and well-behaved companion. This is truly a team effort, and a dog's success is dependent on how we all work together. With that in mind, All of our training programs are fully customizable to best suit your family and your dog’s needs.
Day School
our most popular training program! Drop your furry friend off in the morning for a full day of school, and pick up a more knowledgable pup in the evening. Our goal is to teach your dog to make good choices in every day life, whether they are at home or out and about.
At school, your dog will enjoy working with our experienced trainers on obedience skills, manners, and any other behaviors or skills you request.
All work and no play is not fun, so we prioritize breaks including recess where the dogs participate in a structured and safe play group in addition to socialization exercises, pack walks, and field trips.
During friday pick up, one of our trainers will do a short lesson with you to review a couple of the skills your dog has learned that week so you can practice on the weekend.
After graduation, we will schedule an in-home lesson to help make the transition home seamless.
As graduates of our program, your family will have access to lifetime support to help your pup maintain good behaviors, as well as to train through any life changes or bumps in the road. Our lifetime support program also includes boarding and day school drop-in options for our graduates to help meet your needs both now and in the future.
Day school is a minimum of two weeks depending on the dog’s behaviors and needs.
Adult dog day school runs Monday through Friday
Puppy day School runs monday, wednesday, friday
drop off hours: 7-9 am
pick up hours: 4-7 pm
Boarding School
at our boarding school, dogs get the best of both worlds. during the day they engage in sessions with our expert trainers, romp around in playgroup, and develop appropriate behaviors in socialization activities and field trips. In the evenings, they work on house manners upstairs in our founder’s residence. This hybrid model allows us to train basic obedience behaviors during the day and excellent house manners at night. this fully immersive experience is an excellent foundation for the relationship you have always wanted to have with your dog.
After graduation, our trainers will schedule in-home lessons to teach you everything they learned as well as how you can best work with them to keep it up. training is a journey, and we will be there every step of the way.
